About RefurbPCFinder
A US directory of stores selling refurbished and off-lease computers in person — built around refurb-specific facts that general business directories do not collect.
Why this directory exists
Demand for refurbished computers is established at category level: an online marketplace such as Back Market receives approximately 4.9 million monthly visits (third-party estimate). Yet we found no national directory focused on independent refurbishers you can visit in person. This site fills that gap without pretending the map is already complete.
Sourcing and verification method
- The directory launched with a small seed set drawn from published market research. Listings are added one at a time, not scraped in bulk.
- A store is listed with the facts available from published sources; listings are checked against primary sources as verification proceeds. Anything not checked is shown as “not yet verified” or omitted — never filled in by analogy with other stores.
- Refurb-specific fields tracked for each store: sells off-lease business laptops, sells refurbished Macs, trade-ins, and warranty as stated by the store.
- Growth comes from the submission and correction form. Submissions are checked before publication.
- No store can pay for placement or a ranking boost on this directory.
Claims policy
- Warranty: published only when the store itself states it, attributed to the store and dated. The directory never asserts a warranty on a store's behalf. At launch, no store on this site has a verified warranty flag — see warranty information.
- Grading: grades belong to the seller who assigned them and are not standardised across sellers. The directory does not convert grades into its own scores. See grading explained.
- Pricing and inventory: not asserted by the directory. Prices and stock change; verify directly with the store.
- Reviews, ratings and testimonials: this directory publishes none for any listing, because none have been verified for publication.
